Live @ Lit Lounge

Margaret Atwood

The heart may go last in Margaret Atwood’s latest novel, but don’t let that stop you from being the first in line for tickets to a Live @ Lit author reading and meet-and-greet. Atwood is visiting us on March 15 to chat her visionary dystopian thriller, The Heart Goes Last.

As expected from the acclaimed literary genius and Canada native, Atwood seamlessly weaves romance, hardship, violence and heart into a thrilling and frighteningly relatable dystopian tale. Atwood writes with honesty and wit, formulating landscapes and building characters that aritculate their world and struggles with subtelty and stoicism.

Arguably one of her eeriest reads yet, Atwood will be at Lit from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. for a reading, followed by a Q&A.

As always, you can expect some of Lit’s craftiest baristas mixing up our famous themed drinks in honour of Atwood’s impressive, lengthy writing career. Sit back and relax while you soak in the knowledge and talent of one of Canada’s finest literary talents.

Fancy a Handmaid’s T[ale] anyone?
